Julian and the NightFlyer: A youth fantasy novel
This novel, currently a work in progress, was inspired by a photoshop project which integrated a young equestrian on his horse with the wings and the head of two different birds and an eerie night sky. The cover incorporates a map of the world, landmarks in Japan (Wakayama Castle) and Orillia (Orillia Opera House), along with family photos.
It is a story of a young boy who discovers and befriends a fantasy creature who is able to transport him to see his family in Canada. Through his experiences one learns something about the two cultures and a boy’s life in each.
